One of the game’s most accomplished coaches, Ray Harper is in his second season as the head coach at Jacksonville State. Last season, he led the Gamecocks to the school’s first NCAA Tournament appearance by winning the OVC Tournament title. He previously led Western Kentucky to two Sun Belt Conference Tournament titles to earn berths in consecutive NCAA Tournaments in 2012 & 2013. Harper’s stellar head coaching resume includes four national championships in 12 seasons at Kentucky Wesleyan College and Oklahoma City University, five national runner-up finishes, eight conference titles, five national coach-of-the-year honors and a remarkable .761 overall winning percentage (451-142) as a head coach.
