LAS VEGAS – This year for the first time, participating players in the Roman Main Event have signed “name, image and likeness” agreements to promote the four-team tournament to be played November 19/21 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tournament promoter, bdG Sports, announced its “Starting Five” Ambassadors today which are:
- Dalen Terry – @dalenn on Instagram / @dalenterry on Twitter
- Adrien Nunez – @adrien_nunez on Instagram / @nunezadrien on Twitter
- Dexter Dennis – @ldl_dex on Instagram and Twitter
- Bryce Hamilton – @b_ham13 on Instagram / @bham_10 on Twitter
- Hunter Dickinson – @hunter.dickinson1 on Instagram / @h_dickinson24 on Twitter
The players have been enlisted to promote the tournament on social media and are the first participating athletes to be used in such a role after a number of state laws were adopted effectively ending the NCAA’s rules that prohibited such opportunities.
“We are excited to have Bryce, Dalen, Dexter, Adrien and Hunter as part of our team as we launch this new Ambassadors program,” said Tournament Director Jon Albaugh. “We encourage fans of each participating team to follow our Ambassadors on social media and keep an eye out for tournament promotions and special offers that only will be announced by the athletes.”
Exclusive offers for Arizona and Wichita State fans were announced this past weekend by Dalen Terry and Dexter Dennis. Arizona fans are able to save 20% off tickets by using promo code DALEN at AXS.com or T-MobileArena.com. Shocker fans can use promo code DEXTER for the same offer in the Wichita State fan sections. Additional offers targeted toward Michigan and UNLV fans will be announced by the respective ambassadors in the coming weeks.
